My fur-baby love affair began when I was a little girl who was seeking comfort from a terrifying experience of domestic violence and alcoholic parents. My escape from fear and violence came when I could connect with Blake, a shimmering and loving black cat with piercing green moon shaped eyes and Susie, a gentle and calm standard white poodle. They provided me with a sense of peace and safety during the ongoing and frequent nightly battles. For a few minutes and sometimes hours, I knew I could drop into a moment of feeling cuddled, hugged, and loved by my fur-babies. Interested in learning more about my story? Through my extensive professional education and practical real-world clinical hours in a healthcare hospital facility, I became a clinical chaplain. This training focused on learning empathic listening to understand the special needs of the patient, family, friends, and colleagues. In a safe, supportive, and loving space, the patient, family, and others can express their personal and meaningful emotions and feelings.

Through this training and my lifetime love affair with fur-babies, I have become dedicated and passionate about offering you support throughout your decision to euthanize and a special celebration of life (memorial service).

By creating a safe, supportive, and loving space, I’m able to help my fur baby clients express their emotions, feelings, and memories while grieving the loss of their beloved pet.
