As I reflect on my twenty-five years as a corporate and entrepreneurial professional, Spirit has always been my guiding light and TRUTH to nudge, sculpt, reveal, and show me the Divine opportunity and passion to become a life coach and animal loss clinical chaplain.

I’ve always had the humble honor and privilege to be a trusted listener for people to feel loved, valued, respected, and safe to open their hearts to me. Often my family, friends, colleagues, and clients would say; “You’re the only person I’ve ever felt safe with to bare my soul. I’ve told you secrets that I’ve never shared with anyone else. You didn’t judge, you listened with understanding, acceptance, prayer, kindness, compassion, and unconditional love.”

My journey to becoming a Life Coach began with deep introspection, ignited by my inner God voice whispering and nudging me to feel and BE the essence of authenticity, truth, and passion. So, I made a commitment to listen, love, understand, guide, and nurture each soul to self-discover their answers to “What have I come here to BE and DO?”

For over eighteen years, I’ve had the honor and privilege to serve as a Prayer Chaplain holding souls in a sacred space knowing God/higher power is their Source.  My prayer chaplain work is the foundational God Building Block for my journey to serve in love.

In 2019, my inner God voice kept whispering to me to make a deeper commitment to explore clinical chaplain training programs to complement my prayer chaplain and real-world practical life coaching experience. Kaiser Permanente, Sacramento invited me to apply, interview and I was accepted into their prestigious Clinical Chaplain Program. I successfully completed a yearlong full-time volunteer intensive program. On many occasions, I was the only chaplain serving with the supervisor of chaplain palliative care, physicians, nurses, and staff to visit hospital patients. I learned, appreciated, and thrived in a culture of interfaith or no belief with families and patients in the emergency department, intensive care unit and other hospital units. They just wanted someone to listen and perhaps pray. It was a mindful feeling of ONENESS, connectedness, love, and humility to be with a recovering patient or a patient who was breathing their last breath.

Many of my patients expressed deep love for their pet(s) “fur-babies” because they felt their pets offered unconditional love and healing. The homeless patients especially wanted to get back outside to be cuddled and loved by their pet.
